[INFO] THE MOJAVE - TOWNS & CITIES

CANON LOCATIONS - TOWNS & CITIES

GOODSPRINGS

Goodsprings is a small town north of Primm and the Mojave Outpost, and south of Vegas proper, toward the outer western edge of the Mojave Wasteland. It existed before the Great War and has been reclaimed by Wasteland settlers. The main source of income here is small-time big horners ranching.

Places of note include the Prospector Saloon, Goodsprings General Store, Doc Mitchell's, the old Poseidon gas station, and the old school house, along with the wells and their source southeast of town. To the north is the Goodsprings Cemetery.

In the cemetery and roads leading north out of town are signs warning travelers to keep out, and it's wise to heed those and find another way around, as north of Goodsprings is overrun with both cazadores and deathclaws.

PRIMM

Primm is north of the Mojave Outpost, and pre-war was kind of the 'poor man's Vegas'. Population here is sparse, and most of the buildings are little more than a couple of walls still standing, but some elbow grease could shine it up a bit.

Places of note here are the Bison Hotel & Lucky Casino (which features a broken down rollercoaster), a branch of the Mojave Express, the Vikki & Vance Casino (see the couple's death car inside!), and the Sheriff's office. Across the bridge is a NCR outpost.

Located a short distance from Primm is the NCR Correctional Facility - a place where the NCR use prisoners to dynamite rubble and clear wreckage. One can only hope they don't get any ideas, with the NCR stretched transparently thin.

NIPTON

Nipton is one of the few locations over the former state line in California. After New Vegas proper, it's the second choice of NCR soldiers on leave, offering less in the way of gambling, but more in the way of prostitution.

Places of note are very few here, mostly limited to the town hall and trading post, as the real business is in flesh and vice. There's a few campers to cop a nap in, and several houses, some of which are abandoned. There's the Mojave Drive In to the southwest, but obviously its days of movie showings are over, and the Nipton Road Pit Stop and Ivanpah Race Track and Ivanpah Dry Lake are to the west and north west respectively.

NOVAC

Novac (a name no doubt taken from the broken "No Vacancy" sign outside the hotel) is a very tiny town on an offramp of a defunct highway. It's located west of Nelson, and east of the REPCONN Test Site.

Places of interest are the hotel itself, Dinky (the giant dinosaur out front) and the gift shop in his belly (snipers watch the road day and night from his mouth), several houses, the local conspiracy theorist, a small brahmin ranch, and a traveling doctor.

There's also REPCONN, but local rumor says it's been taken over by ghouls, so explore at your own risk.

NELSON

Blah blah blah.
